Premium plan renamed to start.me ᴘʀᴏ

In July 2015 start.me launched its first subscription plan. Although start.me has always been a free service (and will remain free for the foreseeable future), considerably user requests came in for an ad-free paid subscription. This plan was named Premium. Now, more than a year later, start.me is renaming the paid plan to start.me ᴘʀᴏ.

The paid plan’s original name – Premium – was chosen for its simplicity and clarity. However, with the introduction of plans for Teams and Education, the name became more ambiguous. To prevent any confusion the name start.me ᴘʀᴏ was chosen.

The start.me ᴘʀᴏ plan is aimed towards professionals that use start.me for their profession and need some specific extras. Subscribers to the start.me ᴘʀᴏ receive live RSS updates, a set of premium widgets and priority support.

The start.me ᴘʀᴏ plan is available to everyone for $20/year.
